Optional Materials:
Austenitic stainless steel: typical grade 304
This material is non-magnetic or weakly magnetic, and it has toughness and ductility, with resistance to corrosion and high temperature. But its strength cannot be strengthened by phase transformation.
Application:
304 is largely used in household goods, medical appliance, ship accessories, auto parts, building materials, chemical and food industries.

Martensitic stainless steel (cutting tools stainless steel): representative grade: 420
Martensitic stainless steel can be adjusted in mechanical properties through heat treatment. Popularly speaking, it belongs to hardenable stainless steel. After quenching, its hardness is higher. And this stainless steel attains different combinations of strength and hardness with different tempering temperatures. It is used in conditions requiring no high corrosion resistance and where the cutting tools and machine elements require highly on strength.
