8501 Stainless Steel Socket (1/2″)
Materials:
1. Austenitic stainless steel: grade 304
Non-magnetic or weakly magnetic, austenitic stainless steel has high tenacity and ductility, corrosion resistance and thermostability. But its strength cannot be strengthened by phase transformation.
Application: household goods, medical appliance, ship accessories, auto parts, building materials, chemical and food industries.

2. Martensitic stainless steel (cutting tools stainless steel): representative grade: 420
Martensitic stainless steel has adjustable mechanical properties with heat treatment. Generally speaking, it belongs to hardenable stainless steel. After quenching, its hardness increases, and different combinations of strength and tenacity can be attained under different tempering temperatures. This stainless steel is used in conditions requiring no high corrosion resistance and the fields in which cutting tools and machine elements have high requirements on strength.
